Author Rick Aster has reviewed new features of the recently released SAS 9.2 software, and does not plan to update any of his books on SAS programming for this release.
“The new features would add about 5 pages to Professional SAS Programming Shortcuts and perhaps 15 pages to Professional SAS Programmer’s Pocket Reference,” Aster said, “but the new features are not so essential or so numerous that it would make sense for readers to buy a new edition of either book.”
The two books mentioned were last updated for SAS 9.1, and are expected to be updated again after a future SAS release that adds more new functionality of interest to SAS programmers.
